Sled constructor Emil Inauen does not just guarantee the renowned BEWE quality, but integrates his wide knowledge from the modern dog sled racing sport.

In the last 20 years Emil Inauen pushed BEWE Sleds up to the absolute toplevel. With Emil Inauen holding the reins, continues to stand for quality, excellent handicraft, attention to detail and exclusivity. In addition, the Swiss integrates personal experience from the professional international sledog sport. The high-tech sleds impress with longevity, high stability, precise steering, low weight and speed. And it's very own look makes the BEWE sleds even more desirable.

BEWE developed in the 1980ies a very personal and very successful sled concept: Fast, precise, sturdy, light and flexible - all combined in the 'Alpi' construction. To this day we have remained faithful to this principle.

The continued success of many world-class mushers and the polyvalence of the basic Alpi concept are definitely proof of how impacting this basic concept is. It is impressive that in the same year the same sled model scored top five results in the European Championships in sprint, at the Alpentrail, Pirena, Grande Odyssée and Finnmarksløpet. Accomplishments with one and the same sled in all disciplines - this is unique!

Other successes include many European and World Champion titles, the many unmatched ONAC wins, or the victories at the Iditarod, Grande Odyssée and the Wyoming Stage Stop, as well as wins at the Femundløpet and the Finnmarksløpet.
